Secondary DNS Service

The System Administrators' Guild of Ireland is pleased to offer its members Secondary DNS Hosting as a member benefit. Below are the details of the Secondary DNS Hosting Service

  • Secondary DNS hosting for up to 2 domain names (looking to offer more either as special request, or possibly for a small additional cost per year - for now... it's special request *wink*)
  • You'll need to provide:
    1. Zone Name
    2. Master IP address
  • You'll need to allow ns2.sage-ie.org to poll your master DNS server ( ns2.sage-ie.org = 81.17.246.4)
  • Once you see the domain polled (and it responds correctly), add "ns2.sage-ie.org" to your list of valid DNS servers and refresh the zone again)
